Q: I want to join you as a wardrobe assistant, set designer, can i keep the things i make for myself? A: Unfortunately not since every prop and set we build for Blood ceremony will stay for future use of Blood Ceremony films.
Q: I'm coming all the way from New York to the shootings, will you cover my travel expences? A: We treat every person coming to our shooting sessions equally and no-ones travel expences are paid for. If we have to travel somewhere further from the crew's homestead, we usually arrange a co-transport to the scene and back. Sometimes even a rudimentary housing on the scene.
Q: I'm acting/Make-up artist/designing sets in other group, will that bother my participation to Blood Ceremony Projects? A: No it won't as long as you are there when we have agreed to and have commitment to your job since your workload has a significant part in the movie and final result. We will agree clear terms in the beginning on which project is the first priority for the applicant so we can assess how much the person is ready to be with us.
Q: I'm studying this profession, can i intern with you? A: Not a bad idea at all! Some of our group have made their final thesis or their intership in our productions. Our group doesn't in fact offer any money for the internship nor meal advantage so this you have to take into account but what we offer is a part in a movie production group that is not made anywhere else in Finland!!! An internship in our group will require a really active and independent touch since most of it is done very independently. So you can't just join our group for intership and "just be" and get a free ride of internship and get good reviews without committing to the job. When you want to seek into our group for an internship you have to acknowledge that we are ready to give a lot if you give an independent and active effort.
Q: I'm still a professional in my own field. I think i'm entitled to some kind of compensation for my troubles, Will this happen?. A: We treat every person involved in making our movies equally, whether you were starring, a visiting star in a cameo role, an extra, composer or a wardrobe assistant - nobody gets a monetary compensation for their participation in our movies. Every person participating in making of our movies are with us for the love of movies and making them but as said, there is an unmeasurable amounts on fame and glory and of course the premiere night with the party involved!!!
Q: Then where do all the money from the movies go to? A: What the fucking money - Has someone actually made money from this and not told us?!? Seriously, No-one has ever made it rich with these movies and the possible income from a previous movie are used in making the next movie. So in practice the people before you have made it possible that you can be a part of making the movie of today. And it means that if we get any income from this movie, we'll fund the next movie with it ... These things are not made because of money, but for the love of this genre.
